Wooden palisade (picket fencing)

Wooden PalisadePalisade is a popular form of fencing with many different designs to choose from. This type of fence is constructed from rails secured to wooden posts or inserted into mortices in between posts. The pales are then nailed to the rails.

Metal railings

Chain link fencing

Chain LinkThis is the most popularly used general purpose fence and is available in a wide variety of mesh sizes, heights and colours. The woven diamond pattern is a familiar sight around numerous installations, providing an effective security barrier or recreational enclosure.

Feather edge boarded

Feather Edge (3)This type of fencing consists of two or three horizontal wooden rails secured to wooden or concrete posts and then clad with wooden boards. Again this type of fence provides excellent privacy and security.

Panel fencing

Post-and-Panel-(12)Panel fencing is the most commonly used type of domestic fencing and, once installed, gives immediate privacy.

Closeboard (featheredge panel) fencing – Vertically boarded fence panels supported by either wooden or concrete posts along with a concrete base panel/gravel board if required.

Waney lap panel fencing – Horizontally boarded fence panels supported by either wooden or concrete posts along with a concrete base panel/gravel board if required.

Post and rail fencing

Post and Rail Fencing30Post and rail fencing makes for an excellent boundary fence. It consists of wooden posts driven in to the ground and clad with two, three or four wooden rails. This is available using square, round or half round posts and flat or half round rails.
